I Had A MIND MELTODOWN but I’m OK

You heard it….

My Mind totally melted and chaos came pouring out…

Let me tell you what happened.

In 2007 I racked up a total of more than 60 sites!

And I learned the hard way how not to ever do business again. It’s not that I didn’t make enough money it’s the simple fact that I could have made a lot more if I would have alotted my productive time to a more limited number of projects.

I’m currently focusing on working on only one project per month and not moving on until I have figured out a maintenance plan that I can easily handle. (let’s just say an hour of work or less per day)

Right now I’m focusing on my baby which I plan to make the number 1 visited marketing community in the world.

I call it “MyMarketingMafia.com” and yes, as the name suggests it’s an online “mafia” dedicated to learning and sharing all things Marketing.

I suggest setting up an account early as you will be able to establish yourself as a community leader.

Anyway that is the project I will be putting the majority of my time into for now. I have huge plans for this site as well but the time when that will be is still to be determined. If you’ll sign up to my info marketing news at the upper right corner of this page though I will be sure to tell you when the main product arrives here.

Another, even better, reason to subscribe is because I will be sharing 10 KILLER INFO MARKETING LESSONS with you 100% Free. Each one comes in step be step format so you can create a product if you don’t have one. Or start selling better if you do.

Anyway I’m gonna wrap this up with 2 suggestions.

  1. Claim your free account at MyMarketingMafia.com
  2. Sign up for my free 10 Part Info Marketing Crash Course >>>>

Stay Cool

My Information Marketing Passion

One of the primary ways I earn a living is through info marketing.

I have a passion for it.

This differs from what most people consider an author. Yeah, it’s true you can call yourself an author or a writer at cocktail parties if it makes you feel better but the thing that separates us from authors is the science we use to determine…

  1. If a product is marketable (profitable)
  2. How to sell it

An author will typically just write what they like or know. For us that’s where it starts but in order to profit from our knowledge we need to mold it into what “the market” wants.

I don’t believe in living according to what the critics or public wants but as far as info marketing is concerned it’s the first rule you need to learn if you write only for self-serving purposes and the public at large has no interest you will go broke. If you write on your area of expertise and craft it to what the public wants you can become as wealthy as you need to be.

My first suggestion or assignment for you is to begin keeping a jounal or diary. If creating info products and living a “hands-free” lifestyle is what you want you need to begin and refine your skill for writing. All power and expertise comes with practice so get a regular notebook and begin writing your thoughts on paper. It doesn’t matter what you write just write the exact thoughts you are thinking on paper. After about a week of writing everyday you can go back to the beginning and read through your thoughts throughout the past week. You should be able to begin finding trends of what your subconcious (true) interests are. This would be a good place to start your market research.

If you will stick with me at this site you will soon see a wealth of information unfold as I tell you about the methods I use to sell my info products, how to develop the information content as well as the resources I personally use to keep my services running.

You’ve probably heard several people talk about how information marketing is such a great business. Well I’m here to affirm that, it’s true. But it comes with it’s warnings.

First, you should be willing to commit a certain amount of time to this venture, especially when you first start. Anyone who tells you that you can create a product and effectively market it out of thin air is a bald faced liar. It will take you time to develop your product but it will be time well spent when your product is up, your perfectly designed systems are in place and you begin to receive a steady flow of checks and bank deposits.

Second, info marketing is not all fun and games. As I mentioned it is a science. We can’t neglect the numbers. Here is why…

  1. Numbers don’t lie
  2. Numbers give us a good indicator if our product will work or fail
  3. Numbers tell us where to improve

When we develop our sense of how to read the numbers, statistic, analytics and trends we gain the power to create one successful product after the next.

I look forward to sharing my next post with you. If you ever have a question just ask it in the comments. The only person who loses is the one who refuses to grow and learn. I’m here to share my knowledge with you but if you don’t indicate to me the knowledge you seek there is no way for me to share it with you.

Until the next time…
